Nice work on the video and content. I have read most but not all. Very much looking forward to the Nightfall series which I haven't got to yet. Dark Knight Returns is definitely essential, although probably not relevant to your modern continuity. A must read for anyone getting back into Batman. Also, JLA: Tower of Babel is highly recommended and builds on Batman's darker side/mentality.

I realy want to start collecting the current batman comics but I don't know where to begin???? I have the major GN'S (Dark Knight, halloween etc) but I dont know where to start with the comics????

I've got all of them except A LONELY PLACE OF DYING, KNIGHTFALL pt3, NO MAN'S LAND series, FACE TO FACE and HEART OF HUSH. Definitely gonna try and track them down. And Morrison's Batman is, I agree, beautifully complex. It's mind-blowing stuff. RIP didn't even seem that special when it was described to me, but for some reason it's just amazing

Thank you for this video. Most, if not all, the Batman books I have bought have been based on this list. I would just like to add that I just bought Lonely Place of Dying TPB off eBay for $2.99!!!! I feel like jumping up and down right now. The only books left for me to buy off this list are the Grant Morrison books
